How to recover deleted files
If you deleted files using the Windows 'Delete' option, most likely your deleted files were moved to the Recycle Bin and you can easily recover them to their original location using the Recycle Bin 'Restore' option. So the first thing you should do to recover deleted files is to check the Recycle Bin. Learn how to recover deleted files from the Recycle Bin
But what if you emptied the Recycle Bin or used Shift+Delete or some other delete actions that bypass the Recycle Bin? Even in this case there is a probability to recover deleted files. The deleted files are no longer visible as Windows removes references to these files, but their contents are still not really deleted as Windows doesn't immediately overwrite the space of deleted files. So the deleted files will stay on your hard drive for some time until they are overwritten by other files. But you should remember - the longer you leave deleted files unrecovered, the less chances to recover deleted files you have as that space could be partially or completely overwritten with other data.
